Casey’s Project December 26

Anyone who is helping with Casey’s Project: please make sure you dress for the weather. It is supposed to rain, so dress accordingly. Also bring work gloves to protect your hands while you are using tools. See you Saturday, December 26, at 8 am in the parking lot of Hauser Jr. High!

All scouts and adults are invited to help with Casey’s Eagle Project Saturday, December 26 (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) at Hauser Jr. High. The work will consist of putting up reflectors on stop signs throughout Riverside.

This work includes a lot of walking so wear comfortable footwear. Dress for the weather, it might be cold. BRING TOOLS FOR TIGHTENING NUTS AND BOLTS (½ inch wrench, ½ inch crescent wrench, ½ inch combo wrench, ½ inch open wrench, ½ inch ratchet with ½ inch socket standard or deep well) Snacks and drinks will be provided. Service hours will be given to scouts who need them.

Sky High Trampoline: ALERT

Our holiday SKY HIGH TRAMPOLINE outing is Friday! If you have not already done so, fill out an online waiver for each scout or sibling attending. Sky High Trampoline Update

We have 19 scouts signed up for the Sky High Trampoline party on Friday. We have 30 spots reserved; therefore, we are opening the event to siblings. We are not setting a firm age requirement, but keep in mind that this will be an active event with boys up to high school age. Vertical Endeavors Cancelled

Due to lack of response, the Vertical Endeavors outing scheduled for December 12 has been cancelled.

Boards of Review December 17

We will be holding Boards of Review during the Troop meeting on December 17. Scouts who need either a Scoutmaster Conference or Board of Review should sign up online.

Reminder: Meeting December 10

We will NOT have a regular Troop meeting this week since we have an outing on Friday night (Sky High Trampoline) and on Saturday (Vertical Endeavors Climbing).

However, we will have a Patrol Leader Meeting in lieu of the regular meeting. This will be a planning meeting for January & February meetings.

We would like to send Feedblitz messages directly to our scouts, and occasionally contact them with other news via e-mail. With 3 exceptions, we have e-mail addresses for all our “Star & Above” Patrol, but we would appreciate receiving e-mail addresses for any scout who is 1st Class rank or below. If you are willing to share your scout’s e-mail address, please send it to nmhopkins1@comcast.net.

Our holiday “party” is next Friday, December 11, at Sky High Trampoline. We have 30 spots available, but only 11 scouts have signed up.
