The committee also has the responsibility to provide adults for boards of review. This is an important responsibility and is one area where help is always needed and appreciated. The committee consists of parent volunteers who fulfill various roles on the committee. http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Troop_Committee

Scout Cabin Overnight on September 9

Troop 24 is planning an overnight camp-out at the Scout Cabin in Riverside for our first meeting of the year, on Friday, September 9, 2011, with a campfire and weiner roast late in the evening. Scouts should be dropped off at the Scout Cabin at 7:00 p.m. and picked up on Saturday morning by 9:00. Scouts should come prepared to sleep in tents for the night. There is NO COST for this outing.

Because this is an overnight outing, we need a permission form for each scout. Please be sure your scout is registered for this event. To register: http://troop24riverside.com/2011/08/scout-cabin-campout-form/
