Please Pay Your 2021 Scout Dues Now

It is time to renew your BSA scout membership. The cost for 2021 is $90 per scout. This amount covers fees our troop must pay per member to the BSA National and Council Offices. Please pay online as soon as possible.

Scout Dues Form

In the past Troop 24 has subsidized the cost of BSA dues for our adult volunteer leaders. A fee is required for each member, including our Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters and Troop Committee Members. This is a considerable cost to the troop. Please consider making a donation to our troop, so we can continue to subsidize our leaders who volunteer so much of their time. Thank you for your support of Troop 24!

We’ll discuss ideas for Zoom programming going forward, play a Zoom game, and have a break-out room for our Scouts working on Scout rank.

So be sure to attend to submit your ideas for our upcoming weekly meetings!

Be on the lookout for an email from Scoutmaster Lauger with the Zoom log in code.

TROOP 24 BROOKFIELD ZOO TREE TRIM

TROOP 24 BROOKFIELD ZOO TREE TRIM

Troop 24 Families:

Please join us on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21ST AT 1:00 PM for some holiday merriment at the Brookfield Zoo tree trim. With a mask, of course.
• Troop 24’s “community tree” is located along the walkways within the zoo. Our tree is number 223, located on the East Mall.
• We have 20 ZOO PASSES AND FOUR SOUTH LOT PARKING PASSES available for the event. We’ll arrange your retrieval of the passes later next week.
• If you have a Zoo membership, you can simply visit the zoo at 1:00 PM and join us.
The sign in front of our tree will read:
• Decorated by: Riverside Scout Troop 24
• Donated by: Riverside Scout Troop 24
• Town: Riverside
Layouts of the malls will be posted at the gate to help us find our tree within the zoo.

Ornaments
• Let’s be creative!
• Click here to review the Zoo’s Tree Trim ornament guidelines. The Zoo will remove tinsel, glass/breakable ornaments, and decorations made with food.
• Finally, if you would like to donate an ornament for the tree but can’t attend the event, a box will be placed in the Church front door alcove for your donation, available Monday.
