The Troop will conduct the annual Crossover Ceremony at Cub Scout Pack 24’s Blue and Gold Banquet on Sunday, February 25, at 5:00 p.m. at Crystal Sky Banquets, 7941 W. 47th Street in McCook. Pizza dinner will be provided after the crossover, and scouts should be home by 7:00 p.m. Boy Scouts are needed to participate and welcome the new scouts into the Troop. Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scout, Joseph Connelly!

We come to the close of the Perry/Ryan Administration and will celebrate a successful term with a Patrol Bowling Tournament at AMF Forest Lanes, 7700 W 47th Street, Lyons from 7-9pm on Thursday 2/15.

Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring Patrol and highest scoring Scout.  Build camaraderie among your patrol and encourage all patrol members to attend!

The cost is $15 per scout and includes shoe rental.

You should bring spending money for food & snacks.

Parents please drop your scouts off at AMF @ 7700 West 47th Street, Lyons. Please Do NOT drop scouts at RPC!

Drop off at AMF is at 7pm and pick up is at 9pm. 

This is a Boy Scout event and Class A uniform is Mandatory.

We have extended the deadline for sign up for the Granite Peak Ski Trip/Tesomas Winter Camp Trip.  The trip will take place February 16-19 (President’s day weekend.)

All Scouts are required to work the day of the Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, March 3rd, but if there is a conflict, scouts may work setup on the evening of March 1st. An online signup will be available in the coming weeks, but if you have a conflict let us know at pancakes@troop24riverside.com so we can accommodate. Scouts are welcome to work both setup and the breakfast.

All scouts are required to sell or purchase 15 pancake breakfast tickets. Ticket money is due February 15th. You can turn in money at a troop meeting or to Nina Henderson at the address listed in the ticket packet.

Any parents who can volunteer for the pancake breakfast, please let us know when you’re available on the day of (March 3rd) and we will find a job for you do. Please email pancakes@troop24riverside.com to let us know how and when you can help.
