Scout Families,

We’ve received multiple reports of issues with the original Pancake Breakfast sign-up. We appreciate the feedback and are happy to report that we believe the issues have been resolved.

If you have already signed up for a shift, please log in and make sure that your job assignment and time are still the same.

If you were not able to sign-up due to issues, please try again.

Please also check your homepage to see if we have received your ticket money. It may take a day or two for this to be updated as we receive the money, but if you’re sure you’ve turned in your money and it shows that you haven’t, please let us know.

Troop Meeting – February 13 – Camp-craft [III]

This week, we’ll continue our exploration of camp-craft as it relates to rank advancement requirements.

The Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class ranks all have “Camping and Outdoor Ethics”, “Cooking”, and “Tools” sections, which range from knot- and rope-work to “Leave no Trace” principles.

We’ll also set a plan for those requirements that need an outdoor setting, more advanced preparation, or completion at home.

I am looking for 3-4 adults to sit on an Eagle Boards of Review on Monday,  February 17th at 7:00 PM.  Current Eagle Scouts who are 18 are encouraged to volunteer.  Sitting on an Eagle Board it is a very rewarding opportunity to be a part of a Scout’s final step to achieving the rank of Eagle. No experience is necessary.  If you have not sat on an Eagle Board previously I can provide you with resources to familiarize yourself with topics that are discussed at the Board.  Additionally, the Board is run by our Council Representative. We will meet at the Riverside Presbyterian Church. The time committment is approximately 1-1 1/2 hrs.

If you are interested please email me at dmgmitro@aol.com.

Thank you,
