Campout THIS FRIDAY, September 18 at Scout Cabin
We just received approval from Riverside Parks & Rec to hold an overnight camp-out at the Scout Cabin this Friday evening, Sept. 18th. Plan to arrive @ 6:00 on Friday and be done by Noon on Saturday.

A few details:
- Per BSA/Council recommendations, we’ll observe a one-Scout-per-tent policy, unless you are siblings living in the same house.
- Please bring your own tent if possible – we’ll also have Troop tents available.
- We hope to cook on Friday night and Saturday morning. Since this registration is last-minute, include in the comments your suggested meals, and leaders may use your suggestions for planning.
- Finally, we’ll have more details regarding COVID safety protocols and outing activities soon.
Weather right now looks cool and sunny, so it should be fun!
Troop 24 Meeting this Thursday!
Troop 24 Scouts:
Please join us this Thursday 9/10 at 6:00 pm for our first outdoor Troop meeting.
The meeting will take place on the Church lawn & driveway, and include temperature checks at the start. Masks are required. And remember your Class A uniforms!
We will talk about the upcoming year and forming new Fall 2020 Patrols, and enjoy a camp-craft activity and a game of socially-distanced volleyball.
Finally, bathrooms will not be available, so be sure to do that “road-trip” visit to the loo before leaving home.
We look forward to seeing all intrepid Scouts in search of a little fresh air!
