Join Troop 24 for a relaxing weekend of camping and hiking at Mississippi Palisades State Park in Savanna, IL . Untouched by glaciers that left their mark elsewhere in the state, Mississippi Palisades State Park is rich with rock formations carved by erosion. Enjoy the beautiful color of the wooded palisades of the Mississippi River in October and explore extensive hiking trails first walked by Native Americans.
Departing: RPC at 12:30 PM on Friday Oct 25 (there is no school that day in Riverside/N. Riverside)
Returning: ~Noon to RPC on Sunday Oct. 27
