Cantigny – March 15th-17th, 2019

Troop 24 is SO excited to welcome our new cross-over Scouts to the Troop during our annual Cantigny Campout! Friday night camping is reserved for second year and above Scouts, while Saturday night camping is reserved for our newest scouts who have just crossed over.

Our newest Scouts will leave RPC Saturday (3/16) at 8:30am and return to RPC Sunday (3/17) at 10:30am. This is an opportunity for our newest Scouts to…

  • Spend their first night camping with the troop close to home.
  • Learn the ropes and bond with other newly crossed-over Scouts.
  • Meet and be mentored by our older Scout instructors, guides and patrol leaders.
  • Work on skills and requirements needed for their first rank advancement.

Second year Scouts and above, who would like to camp and work on rank advancement requirements that can only be completed on a campout (acting as Patrol cook, starting a fire, setting up a stove, etc.) will leave RPC Friday 3/15 at 4:30pm and return to RPC Saturday 3/16 at 10:30am.
