Food, Fitness and Fire on Thursday

Troop 24 had another great camp out this weekend when they traveled back in time to 1862 and observed the battle of Munfordville, Kentucky.  The scouts met President Lincoln, Gen. Ulysses S. Grant and Gen. George Henry Thomas.  They walked the Union and Confederate encampments meeting the troops, the camp doctor and black smiths.  The scouts danced at the barn dance and watched the night time cannon bombardment before having a personal meeting with General Thomas at the Troop campsite.  Beautiful weather, great food, and good friends made for a perfect Troop 24 camp out.
