Camp Tesomas Friday

Hello Troop 24 Family and Friends,

It’s FRIDAY!!!!!!!  Last Day of Camp and the scouts are in crunch mode to get their merit badges done.  They are squeezing in their last bits of fun amongst packing.  We had a great day on Thursday with open water front swimming, chess tournament, and COPE and climbing.  Today is another great weather day, a cool summer day, slightly overcast with a nice breeze.  Tonight we finish with a Camp wide Campfire and awards ceremony.  The scouts will be sleeping under the stars tonight after enjoying our Troop 24 slide show of the hundreds of photographs taken by the leaders and parents.  We will see you tomorrow late afternoon at the Hauser parking lot.  Camp equipment will be sent home with the scouts for cleaning to be returned on Thursday, July 27 at 7pm at RPC.  Until tomorrow enjoy a few of the photographs………………………….  Smile Tesomas

Camp Tesomas Thursday

Good Day Troop 24 Family and Friends,

It’s another glorious day at Camp Tesomas.  The scouts are working hard to finish their merit badges and partaking in everything that Camp has to offer.  We had scouts sailing the calm waters of Crystal Lake as well as diving its depths.  Last night we had the privilege to watch the Order of Arrow Call Out Ceremony.  In February, our very own Pachsegink Lodge conducted elections at Troop 24 and last night the scouts learned the results of the election during the ceremony, much to their suprise.  Congratulations to our Troop 24 Scouts elected to the Order of Arrow, Pachsegink Lodge.

We are winding up our week here at camp.  Tonight we will participate in the Chess tournament and several of our scouts continue to train for the Mile Swim.   Until tomorrow………………..  Smiley Tesomas

Camp Tesomas Wednesday

Good Day Troop 24 Family & Friends,

It’s a perfect Wednesday at Camp Tesomas.  The weather gods were looking out for Troop 24, parted yesterday’s storms around Camp Tesomas and spared us.  Today it is absolutely perfect, low 80’s and not a cloud in the sky.  Yesterday saw our scouts climbing the tower, shooting clays, building baskets and of course, swimming and sailing the waters of Crystal Lake.  Last night was Pizza night at the campsite followed by free time to take is some shooting sports and watch the chemistry demonstration at the Ecology camp fire.  Some of our leaders were working hard while others are just hanging around.

Everyone is having a great time as you can see from these few photographs.  Until tomorrow……………………  Smiley Tesomas
