Citizenship in Society Merit Badge

On Sunday, October 2nd from 1pm to 3pm, Troop 24 Merit Badge Counselors will meet with our high school aged scouts to help them earn the Citizenship in Society Merit Badge. This meeting will occur in the Riverside Presbyterian Church Social Hall. Scouts who wish to participate should read the Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Requirements and begin work immediately on requirements that can be done independently. If possible, scouts should attend next week’s troop meeting (9/29/2022) for a brief discussion regarding prerequisites. This program will be offered again at later dates for our younger scouts.

OKPIK Training

Pathway to Adventure Council is holding their annual OKPIK training this fall and winter. OKPIK trains scouts and leaders on how to conduct fun and safe cold weather activities and camping. The program is open to registered BSA members who are 14 years old or older and First Class rank or higher. For more information click this OKPIK INFO LINK and OKPIK REGISTRATION LINK.
Participants must set up their own ride or set up a carpool themselves.
