Art Merit Badge Class on Thursday

Scouts & Parents: The Oak Park Arts League is offering an Art Merit Badge workshop this Thursday, August 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. The class can be taken by non-scout siblings as well. Each participant should bring an old T-shirt or art smock. (They will get messy.) Interested scouts should contact Linda Sanduski at lsanduski@gmail.com.

Charlie M Eagle Project Help Needed

Scout and adult help is requested for Charlie M’s Eagle project on:

Monday, August 10: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 11: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The project will take place at the Riverside Arts Center, 32 East Quincy Street in Riverside. It involves weeding and painting, so scouts should come in clothes they aren’t afraid to get dirty and they should bring gardening gloves and tools, especially bring trowels. We need 2 adults leaders for each work day, so adult help would be especially appreciated.
