Popcorn Order Forms Due October 23

We are entering the final weeks for our Scouts to sell Popcorn. All order forms are due at the Troop meeting on October 23. Last chance to ask family, neighbors, co-workers and friends if they’d like to support Scouting through the purchase of Popcorn. If you scout is finished selling, please bring orders to this Thursday’s meeting. Popcorn Kernel Anne Kodama will be collecting them at the end of the Troop meeting.

PLEASE NOTE – IN LIEU OF PRIZES, our Troop elected to receive an additional 5% credit to the Scouts’ popcorn sale totals. New this year, our scouts can earn a total of 35% of their individual sales total to be credited to next year’s summer camp fees. This goes a long way to assist families in bringing down the cost of Camp Tesomas. The more you sell, the closer you are to attending camp free of charge!

When turning in orders, please include both order forms and full payment in an envelope. PARENTS – please review orders to confirm all totals are correct and full payment has been collected. Remember, all popcorn must be paid for in advance.

Popcorn pick-up will be Saturday, November 15.

Any Questions? Please contact our Popcorn Kernel at amkodama@sbcglobal.net.

Sign Up for Board of Review

To make it easier for scouts to let us know they are ready for Boards of Review, we now have a sign-up on the website. We will be doing Boards this Thursday, so anyone who is ready for a Board, please sign up. Don’t forget that you must have your book and be in full uniform (including neckerchief) to have a Board of Review.

Request Board of Review

  • We will do our best to schedule Boards of Review as soon as possible after they are requested, but Boards are not available at every meeting. Boards will be done in the order in which they were requested (assuming the scout shows up on time, in uniform, with his book, etc.). Please contact Carrie Staubus with questions at carrie@staubus.net.
