Pancake Breakfast – Adult Help Needed

Our primary Troop fundraiser, the Pancake Breakfast is coming up on March 2nd.

In order to make this event as successful as possible, we rely on parents and adult volunteers to help out in the following areas:

Placemat Ad Sponsors
• If you have or know of a local business who would like to make a donation in exchange for a spot on our placemat (as well as prominent locations throughout the Breakfast) please let us know.
• If you would be willing to help collect donations from businesses who have helped us in the past, please let me know. It is extremely simple. You just create an account and then log in to the website – http://everyyear.org – and you’ll see an option to volunteer to solicit donations. Details on how to record donations will be available on the site soon. Email me with questions in the mean time.
• I would like to have the sponsorships wrapped up by February 10th. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or suggestions.

Shopping for Supplies
• If you know of any vendors who would be willing to make donations, for example orange juice, butter patties, napkins, pitchers, coffee urns, chafing dishes etc. please let me know!
• If you are able to shop for supplies, please sign up on the website and take a look at the list (make sure the “[ ] Show All” checkbox is clicked on the Shopping list page to see what needs to be shopped for).
• Supplies should be purchased by Feburary 28th and delivered to the church during setup. Make sure if you purchase perishables that you have a place to safely store them if you purchase them before that date.

Working the Day Of and Setup
• We will also need volunteers to work the day of (March 2nd, 5:30am – 2:00pm) and during setup (February 28th, 7:00pm – 9:00pm). I will be posting more information about the available jobs in the coming weeks, but if you have any questions, or would like to offer your time for all or part of the day, please let me know and make sure you Register on the website: http://everyyear.org/Identity/Account/Register

Posters and Yard Signs
• If you know of a good location to put up a poster (11×17), let me know! I can make as many as we need. You can email me directly, or use the form on the website. http://everyyear.org/Poster
• If you live in a location in Riverside, or know someone on a prominent corner that would be a good location for a Yard Sign, we have a limited quantity of signs available to place around town. We don’t want to put these up until a week before the Pancake Breakfast. http://everyyear.org/YardSign

Please email any questions or issues with the website (It’s new!) to pancakes@troop24riverside.com
Thanks,
Rich Hosek
Pancake Breakfast Chairman
