Cycling Merit Badge – November 3, 12:00 – 3:00 pm
Ralph Culloden will be working with a group of scouts interested in earning their Cycling Merit Badge at RPC on Saturday, November 3.
Scouts who sign up should be committed to completing the Cycling Merit Badge, so please take a look at the Cycling Merit Badge Requirements. This badge requires 9 rides between 10-50 miles before it can be completed.
On Saturday, November 3, scouts will:
- Work the Merit Badge requirements 1 – 7 in the RPC parking lot/Social hall
- If weather permits, the scouts will take their first 10-mile ride on the Salt Creek Trail.
Scouts should bring:
- A blue card with Scoutmaster approval
- The Cycling Merit Badge Worksheet
- Their bicycle and bike helmet
- A water bottle
Scouts will meet in the RPC parking lot on Saturday, November 3, at 12:00 Noon. We anticipate they will complete their ride around 3:00 p.m.
There is no cost for this outing. Scouts should register here by November 2.
