We have a Scuba opportunity for all our newly certified scouts, or for anyone who is a PADI-certified diver. Put your new knowledge to use on Sunday, September 15, at the Haigh Quarry near Kankakee. We will be attending with DJ’s Scuba (Brookfield), who will provide the equipment, admission to the quarry, and a light lunch for the scouts. We will leave RPC at 11:00 on Sunday, September 15, dive at about 1:00, and return by late afternoon. DJ’s will provide all the equipment except mask & snorkel (you will need to provide your own, and they have a 15% discount on purchases for scouts). If you have your own fins, great; otherwise, fin rental would be an additional $5. The cost will be $65 (no fins) or $70 (with fins). Adult scout leaders are also welcome and can take advantage of the scout pricing. All participants must have their PADI cards with them. We will arrange a time when we know who is attending.
