Thursday Sept. 8 Meeting – Be Prepared
The first troop meeting of the year was a success. The scouts formed new patrols, elected patrol leaders and chose troop jobs. If you missed the meeting, you were assigned to a patrol; rosters will be published next week. Congratulations to new Senior Patrol Leader, Michael L, who won a hard fought, four way race for the position.
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 8:
- First Aid instruction will continue for all scouts who have yet to reach First Class. Study, Review and Be Prepared.
- Fire Safety Merit Badge will be offered to all First Class and above. Download and print the Fire Safety MB Workbook from Meritbadge.org, complete requirements 1 & 2, and Be Prepared to demonstrate and discuss.
- 24th Garrison Patrol is in charge of meeting set-up, FLAGS, and clean-up. Come in full uniform.
- Iceberg Patrol will be running the “Arm-Sling Relay” during Interpatrol Activity/game time.
- Scouts working toward Tenderfoot should be keeping a log of their physical fitness activities. 6b: “Develop and describe a plan for improvement in each of the activities listed in Tenderfoot 6a. Keep track of your activity for at least 30 days.” We will be completing Tenderfoot 6b & 6c during the first October meetings. Be Prepared to turn in your activity log.
