There is lots of activity on the Eagle front lately and I am looking for 3-4 adults to sit on an Eagle Board of Review on Tuesday June 13th at 7:00 PM. Sitting on an Eagle Board it is a very rewarding opportunity to be a part of a Scout’s final step to achieving the rank of Eagle. If you have not sat on an Eagle Board before I can provide you with some resources to familiarize your self with topics that are discussed at the Board. Additionally, the Board is run by our Council Representative. We will meet at the Riverside Presbyterian Church. The time committment is approximately 1 to and 1 1/2 hours.

We also have an other opportunity to support our Eagle Candidates by attending a project proposal meeting. In this phase of the project the Candidate writes a proposal and presents the idea to a group from the Troop who will assess whether the project is viable, meets the Eagle project requirements and provides the Scout with ideas and suggestions as he moves forward. This meeting will be Wednesday, June 14 at 7:00 PM. This time committment is approx. 45 mins. No experience necessary for either meeting.
