Horsemanship is one of those badges that most Scouts never earn. It can be difficult to find a facility, a counselor, and is one of the more costly MB classes once you find it. We are excited to have found the Millbrook Horse Ranch, to offer this elusive Merit Badge to our Scouts. Our weekend will be packed with fun and adventure and we hope your Scout can join us!

 

This is a great campout for SOOOOOO many reasons!

• We get to set up camp ON the ranch!
• Millbrook has a huge fire area to make awesome bonfires. Is anyone getting hungry for S’Mores???
• Saturday Scouts will work on the Horsemanship merit badge and everything will be covered in class, no prerequisites.
• Saturday evening hayride.
• The ranch is only an hour south of Riverside so travel times will be short!

 

When:        May 10th – May 12th

*Scouts will meet at RPC on Friday at 4:15pm for a 4:30pm departure.

*Scouts will return Sunday morning.

-We plan to be back at RPC by Noon so your Scout can celebrate Mother’s Day with family. We will text/email with ETA when we leave camp and Scouts may also call when they get close to Riverside

 

Price:        $140.00

*This includes the merit badge class, trail rides, hay ride, bonfires, food, and travel.

 

Registration:    Will close Sunday May 5th, 11pm.
