Religious Emblems Program

A Scout is reverent. He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the beliefs of others.
To encourage members to grow stronger in their faith, religious groups have developed the Religious Emblems Programs. The Boy Scouts of America has approved of these programs and allows the emblems to be worn on the official uniform. The various religious groups administer the programs which can be earned through self study or group classes.
Here is information on upcoming programs:
For Protestant Scouts, Duty To God BSA online classes begin in October. See Information Flyer HERE and Registration Link HERE. Scouts can purchase study guides and attend Sunday afternoon Zoom classes.
For Catholic Scouts, the Chicago Catholic Committee runs programs and classes.
Scouts who earn their Religious Emblem will be recognized at Scout Sunday, which will occur on February 4, 2024. Please let us know if you will be working on these programs, or if you need assistance finding programs for other religions by emailing committeechair@troop24riverside.com.
