Troop 90 Pancake Breakfast on November 22

Troop 90 is having their pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 22, at Brook Park grade school in LaGrange Park. Troop 24 scouts and families can purchase tickets in advance from the Consolo family (e-mail to rettie_@hotmail.com), who will deliver the tickets to your home or to our troop meeting. The cost per ticket is $5.00, and 2 children can come in on 1 ticket. Thank you for your contribution to scouting.

Pancake Breakfast Schedule

Everyone should have received their pancake breakfast assignments, but a copy of the schedule can be found here:  2014-pancake-schedule

Pancake Set-up on Thursday

We will not have a regular troop meeting on Thursday, February 27.  Instead, those scouts and adults who volunteered for set-up (or were scheduled for Thursday, in the case of scouts who are not available on Saturday) should be at RPC by 7:00.  Sue Jones has distributed work schedules to everyone, so you should know who you are.  Not sure what you’re supposed to do?  Contact Sue at sue_jones@designpac.com.

Pancake Breakfast – Are You Ready?

Troop 24 — are you ready?  The Pancake Breakfast is only 6 days away!  As of today all of you have received your work assignment schedule and job instructions packets.  If you were not at last Thursday’s meeting then it was dropped off to your house today — if no one was at home, it was placed in the mailbox. Be sure that you have read your instructions prior to the date of the breakfast.  Here is the final scout schedule.  If you switch with someone, please be sure to email Sue Jones so the schedule can be updated.

Pancake Breakfast Money Due 2-20-14

All scouts must turn in their full $75 payment for the pancake breakfast tickets by this Thursday’s scout meeting (February 20). Any checks should be made out to “Troop 24”.  Sue Jones, Pancake Breakfast Chairman, will be on hand to collect the payments and also to distribute the scout breakfast schedule and job instructions packets.  Parents should be sure to review the instructions with their scout prior to the day of the breakfast.  If your scout will not be at this week’s meeting, please drop off your ticket payment to Sue Jones, 150 Southcote.  If no one is at home, push the envelope all the way into the mailbox.

Pancake Breakfast Tickets

At the troop meeting this Thursday, January 30, we will be distributing pancake breakfast ticket packets to each scout. Parents should be sure to ask their scout for their packet when they arrive home so that they do not get misplaced. Each packet contains 15 tickets. Each registered scout is required to sell all 15 tickets and to return the $75 to Sue Jones, the Troop 24 Pancake Breakfast Chairman, by Thursday, February 20. The payment may be made in cash, checks, or a combination. All checks need to be made out to “Boy Scout Troop 24.” Contact Sue Jones if you have questions.

Pancake Breakfast Schedule

Each scout will be required to work a shift at the pancake breakfast, which is on Saturday, March 1, or at the set-up night on Thursday, February 27 (if the scout has an unavoidable important conflict for Saturday). If your scout has a conflict for a particular time on Saturday, please email Sue Jones at sue_jones@designpac.com with the details and we will do our best to schedule around it. Thank you all for your support of our main troop fundraiser. The pancake breakfast funds are used for all troop equipment purchases and other general troop expenses throughout the year.

Pancake Breakfast This Week!

Set-Up is Thursday 2/28 and Breakfast is Saturday 3/2

All scouts are on the schedule for either the Thursday Night Set-Up or the Saturday Breakfast. A copy of the schedule and the scout’s job description and general instructions were distributed to each scout. Here are the Pancake-Breakfast-Schedule, General Instructions, and Thursday Night Set-up. If you have any questions please contact Sue Jones, Pancake Chairman via email at sue_jones@designpac.com or cell phone 708-516-5741. If you do not receive an email reply within 1 day, please call the cell phone (some emails can get blocked by the server).

Pancake Breakfast Ticket Money Due TONIGHT

Thursday night’s Scout Meeting is the deadline for turning in the Pancake Breakfast ticket money. Each Scout is expected to turn in the full payment of $75. Checks should be made out to Riverside Troop 24. At this meeting, each scout will receive a copy of the work schedule as well as a set of instructions. Parents, please be sure that your scout has reviewed these instructions prior to the breakfast day. Any scout that has a conflict with their scheduled time is responsible to find another scout to switch with and then to inform Sue Jones of the change. Thank you for your support of this important fundraiser!

Pancake Breakfast Update

TICKET SALES — All Boy Scouts are required to sell their entire packet of tickets and to turn in their $75 by Thursday, February 21. Sue Jones, Pancake Breakfast Chairman, will be at the meeting tomorrow night to collect scouts’ envelopes with their payment and then again next Thursday as well. The envelope with payment may also be dropped off at 150 Southcote (push envelope all the way into the mailbox).

BREAKFAST WORK SCHEDULE — Each Scout is also required to work at either the set-up night (Thursday, February 28) or the Breakfast Day (March 2). If your scout has a conflict on one of these dates, please email Sue Jones at Sue_Jones@DesignPac.com as soon as possible. The schedule will be finalized by 2/17 so any emails regarding conflicts must be sent by 2/16.

THANK YOU ALL for your support of our troop’s main fundraiser!
