Pancake Breakfast Tomorrow March 3

Our annual Pancake Breakfast is tomorrow. All scheduled Scouts & adults please arrive with plenty of extra time to find parking, hang your coat up, get your nametag on, and report to your supervisor. Keep in mind that the previous person in your job position cannot leave his post until you have arrived and are ready to work. Parents, be sure that your son has read and understands all of the instructions in the packet that was distributed to each scout. The Scout and Adult schedules are available here:

Let’s make this a great event for our Troop and the entire community!

Thank you!

Pancake Breakfast Money Due on 2/23

Tomorrow is the due date for the Pancake Breakfast ticket money. If you have not already turned in your pancake breakfast money, please bring it to the Troop Meeting on Thursday, February 23.

Pancake Breakfast Work Schedule

All scouts are expected to work a shift at the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 3, OR to help with set-up on March 1. For scheduling purposes, please contact Sue Jones at sue_jones@designpac.com as soon as possible to let her know if your scout has a conflict and can’t work a particular time.

Pancake Breakfast Ticket Reminder

Money for pancake breakfast tickets can be turned in at the Troop meeting on Thursday. Please turn in your money after all tickets have been sold.

Pancake Breakfast Placemat Ads Needed

Troop 24 is once again selling spaces on our annual Pancake Breakfast placemat. Each space is about the size of a business card and can be purchased at three levels of support ($50 Bronze, $100 Silver, and $150 Gold). Our placemats are viewed by the over 900 area residents who attend our breakfast. Most of our spaces are sold to area businesses, but we do have some additional space on the placemat for any family members or family friends who would like to participate. The Pancake Breakfast ticket sales and the placemat ads are our Troop’s main source of income to fund our programming and equipment. If you wish to participate, please contact Sue Jones, Troop Pancake Breakfast Chairman (sue_jones@designpac.com). All that is needed is a current business card and your contribution check. The business card can be sent via email, brought to a troop meeting, or can be picked up at your home by Sue Jones. The deadline to participate in this program is February 9. Thank you in advance for your support!

Pancake Breakfast Ticket Distribution Thursday

Our Troop Pancake Breakfast Chairman, Sue Jones, will be at the Troop meeting this Thursday, 1/26, to pass out the Pancake Breakfast Ticket Packets. Each Scout is required to sell a minimum of 15 tickets prior to the March 3 breakfast. If a Scout is not at the meeting this Thursday, his ticket packet will be delivered to his home over the weekend. In order to coordinate sales with the Pack, please do not begin selling tickets in the neighborhood until after Saturday. The Cub Scouts will be receiving their ticket packets on Saturday afternoon. Also, please make a note of the date of the breakfast, March 3, since all Boy Scouts are required to work a shift at either the breakfast or at the breakfast set-up. Please contact Sue Jones (sue_jones@designpac.com) directly for any additional tickets needed. Thank you for supporting the Troop!

Help Needed TONIGHT for Pancake Set-up

Pancake Breakfast set-up is tonight, Thursday, March 3, at RPC. Some of our scouts were assigned to set-up as their official Pancake job, but we could use more help from adults and strong scouts. Please be at RPC at 7:00 p.m. if you can help.

Updated Pancake Breakfast Schedule

All Scouts: The final revised pancake breakfast schedule is available here. Please double check your scheduled time now. Everyone please note: we need “all hands on deck” to help with clean up beginning at about 12:30/12:45 – both adults and scouts. If you are scheduled earlier and can come back for 30-45 minutes, we could all get the cleanup done quickly and all go home. The breakfast officially closes at 1:00 p.m. but it gets really slow by 12:30 and we are able to start breaking down some of the tables and carrying items back up to the attic after that. Thank you everyone!

Assistance Needed for Pancake Breakfast Set-up

We will be setting up for the Pancake Breakfast on Thursday evening, March 4. We could use some of the older (and/or stronger) scouts and adults to help. If you are available, please come to the church at 7:00 p.m.

Pancake Breakfast Schedule

The Pancake Breakfast is the Troop’s largest fundraiser. All scouts have been assigned a time to work. The schedule is attached. If a scout is unable to work at his assigned time, he should make arrangements to trade times with another scout, and let Mrs. Jones know about the switch. Questions? E-mail Mrs. Jones at sue_jones@designpac.com.
