Scout/Parent Survey!

Hello Scout Families,

As we gear up for another great year of Scouting, your troop committee members could really use your help to make sure we are planning events and activities our Scouts and their families will enjoy.

Please take a few minutes to sit down with your Scout and take this brief SURVEY to rate camp outs and share ideas on how to make our troop even better.

If you have any troubles with the survey please send an email to Kimber.Day@gmail.com.

Your help is really appreciated!

Yours in Scouting,

Kimber

Troop 24’s Alex C is looking for help for his Eagle project this week. Here is some information from Alex:
My project is planting a garden to attract hummingbirds at Patriots’ Park in Riverside.
The garden will also provide a nice view for park goers.
I will be using gladiolus, catmint, allium, hyacinth, and hydrangeas to create this garden.

Volunteers are needed to help pull up a weeds and lay down the plating soil and fertilizer. Then they will plant the bulbs and plants into the ground.

The primary volunteer work day will be July 29.  July 30 and July 31 will be added from 8 a.m. to noon if needed. Both adult and scout volunteers are needed. Thank you for your help!

Camp Tesomas Monday News

Troop 24 had an outstanding Monday at Camp Tesomas, filled with learning and good progress in merit badge classes, microtrek, scuba and leader trainings. We have enjoyed spectacular weather, immersed in the natural beauty of the northwoods. Our enthusiasm and scout spirit are high as we look forward to an afternoon of swimming and biking and an evening of comradery as we compete in a camp-wide scavenger hunt.
